Available Coatings

Xylan® Coatings

Xylan coatings are fluoropolymer based systems designed to provide excellent corrosion protection and controlled friction properties. Ideal for applications where ease of assembly and consistent torque tension relationships are required, Xylan coated fasteners also offer resistance to chemicals and harsh operating environments.

PTFE (Teflon™) Coatings

PTFE coatings provide exceptional non stick and low friction performance. These coatings help prevent galling and seizing during installation, making them well suited for stainless steel fasteners and high temperature bolting applications.

Cadmium Plating

Cadmium coatings offer reliable corrosion protection, particularly in salt laden or marine environments. Known for their lubricity and sacrificial protection, cadmium plated fasteners are often specified where consistent performance in severe service is critical.

Zinc Coatings

Zinc coatings, including electroplated and mechanically applied options, provide cost effective corrosion resistance for general purpose applications. Available with a variety of finishes and topcoats, zinc coated fasteners can be tailored to meet specific environmental and performance requirements.
